Rehearsal Booking Terms & Conditions
1. General
1.1 - Housefox Studios rehearsal rooms are studios for dry hire. This means the studio does not come with staff or assistants to help set up and operate the studio space or equipment supplied with each booking. You must have the required skills to use a rehearsal studio and the gear that comes with it.
1.2 - The Hiree confirms they have the required skills to operate all equipment and studio facilities provided by Housefox Studios as listed on the Housefox Studios website.
2. Loading In and Loading Out
2.1 - Load-in and load-out times are a part of your scheduled booking, so please be aware of this. The Hiree agrees to stick to their allocated booking times, meaning they will be loaded in and fully loaded out within these time frames. This means being loaded out by the end of your booking, not after.
2.2 - If a Hiree finds they need to use the studio longer than initially booked, they must contact staff to arrange it. If a staff member cannot be reached for some strange reason, the Hiree agrees to be fully loaded out by the end of their scheduled booking time, not after. This is so you do not hold up another band from loading in on time while cutting into their booking.
3.3 - Remember, you are always welcome (and we encourage it) to grab an extra hour on the house, but ONLY if you check and confirm with us first. Please never assume the room is free after you, always check first.
3. Studio Responsibilities/ Liabilities
3.1 - The Hiree agrees to never share the studio access codes with anyone from outside of their band.
3.2 - The Hiree agrees to return all studio gear to its original location at the end of their booking. This means simply leaving the room clean and tidy at the end of your session. Returning the mics/ mic leads back to their original location and turning the air con, and lights off before leaving.
3.3 - Housefox Studios holds no responsibility for any loss or damage to the Hirees' (or any of their associates') personal belongings or equipment while in the studio or surrounding areas.
3.4 - While we do hold Public Liability Insurance, Housefox Studios holds no responsibility for any injuries acquired by the Hiree or any of their associates within the studio space and surrounding areas. The Hiree agrees to use practical and safe common sense when working within the studio space and surrounding areas and takes full responsibility for the safety of themselves and their associates. Always use hearing protection and always take caution when carrying heavy equipment.
4. Cancellation/ Rebooking Policy
4.1 - All required cancellations and rebookings made prior to 48 hours before the scheduled start time will be gladly refunded or rebooked.
4.2 - No refunds will be made for cancellations or rebookings within 48 hours of the scheduled start time. The Hiree forfeits their total booking fee in this case.
5. Email Newsletter
5.1 - We do occasionally send out an email newsletter, it’s not something we push all that often but we do add the emails from rehearsal bookings to our list to keep you up to date with what’s happening around the studio. Rest assured we don’t continuously spam people and never share that email with anyone else.
